Birkenhead Calling: Volume Three

On the 11th September 2026 Events471 present a night of punk and indie noise in Future Yard Birkenhead, celebrating  new music to raise funds to keep the grassroots scene alive and kicking.

The event will have four bands and a poet on one shared mission: to keep Birkenhead moving forward!

Sonic Assault – Melodic power punk, real-life lyrics, wild frontman, 100% energy.

Grenades – Alt-rock rebels who live by the punk ethos: no rules, no limits, all heart.

Marmalite – Wirral based 3-piece irreverent post-punk. FFO The Fall, Gang of Four, Wire, Devo

The Room- Liverpool post-punk pioneers

Live Punk Poetry – Words like riffs from The Birkenhead Poet.

All proceeds go to supporting grassroots music and creating more local gigs.
