Macks Nyahoe, alongside his 3-piece backing band The New Big Express, are a Liverpool based Dance Punk and Industrial group.
Their unique blend of relentlessness and aggression, paired at once with melody and groove, stems from their unique line-up: frontman Macks Nyahoe sings, plays synthesizer, and sets off triggers, backed by a guitarist, bassist, and percussionist with a drum-kit consisting of 3 tom-toms, a kick, and a piece of sheet metal. The unique rhythmic interplay between the percussionist, and the backing tracks relentless pulse creates a hypnotic, danceable, yet unabating energy.
Furthermore, the backing band’s stage wear consists of full outfits, including masks, which, mixed with the tireless and swirling music, leads to a surreal and immersive atmosphere in live shows.
‘Big Panic’, the group’s highly anticipated debut single, released on the 13th of November, 2025, backed with B-Side ‘Empty Disco’. The single will be followed by a full-album release 2026.
